Risk assessment
Risk for trisomies at 11-13 weeks
This application allows estimation of risks for trisomies 21, 18 and 13 at 11-13 weeks’ gestation by a combination of maternal age, fetal nuchal translucency thickness, fetal heart rate and maternal serum free ß-hCG and PAPP-A.
The values for PAPP-A and free ß-hCG depend on maternal characteristics and reagents used for analysis and they therefore need to be converted into MoMs. In the application above you can either use the MoM values reported by the laboratory or enter the raw data and the MoM values will be calculated.
To ensure that the service you provide is of high quality it is important that you audit the distribution of your nuchal translucency measurements and MoM values of PAPP-A and free β hCG at regular intervals.
